Genre icons Danny Trejo (Machete, From Dusk Till Dawn) and Tobin Bell (Saw franchise) have teamed up for action-horror The Curse Of Wolf Mountain, that Deadline tells us has been acquired by Uncork’d Entertainment for a U.S. digital and DVD release in May.
Starring alongside the pair is Keli Price (Just Swipe) and David Lipper (Hunt Club), who also wrote and directed the feature respectively. The cast also includes Eddie McClintock (The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers) and Fernanda Romero (The Eye).
According to Deadline:
The story follows AJ (Price), who begins having vivid dreams of his parents’ death. He decides to go back to the spot where they were killed, 20 years ago, accompanied by his brother and his brother’s family. But legend has it there is something mysterious roaming these woods.
Lipper's Mickey Rourke and Mena Suvari-starring Hunt Club was also recently acquired by Uncork'd. In a statement, Uncork'd President Keith Leopard expressed his excitement at reuniting with the director:
“It’s great to be back in business again with producer, actor and filmmaker David Lipper following the successful release of Hunt Club. While very different from the latter, The Curse Of Wolf Mountain is no less as thrilling and star-studded."
Deadline had previously reported that production had wrapped on The Curse Of Wolf Mountain back in 2021, as well as sharing this very cute picture from the set:
