Midsummer Scream looms on the very near horizon, returning July 29-31 at the Long Beach Convention Center. FANGORIA will be in the house, so be sure to stop by our booth (309, 311) to say hello! We'll have single issues, including the latest issue, merch, photo-op, mystery bags, and daily giveaways!
Midsummer is delivering all the frights and fun of Halloween over one summer weekend, be sure to check out our panel on Sunday, July 31. We're bringing some of horror's leading screen and TV writers together for one incredible panel: MAKING HORROR FUN AGAIN, featuring the creator of Scream, the screenwriters of Freaky and Malignant, and the creator of TV's Hannibal.
You can also roam the Hall of Shadows where you'll get a taste of miniature versions of haunts, meet The Munsters (Jeff Daniel Phillips and Daniel Roebuck), and indulge in a bit of Hocus Pocus with stars Vinessa Shaw and Omri Katz. Original monster kids Sara Karloff, Lynne Lugosi Sparks, and Ron Chaney will be appearing in a special panel moderated by Metallica's Kirk Hammett Saturday evening, in addition to lots more guests and interactive activities (like building your own tombstone to take home!)
We'll also have our Spicy Donut convention exclusive shirt on hand, grab yours early so we can twin our way through the convention halls like some sort of nightmarish Grady Twins tsunami.
