Christina Ricci shared a post on Instagram teasing the upcoming Netflix series, Wednesday. And when we say this was a teaser, we really mean it in the truest sense. Still no peek at Jenna Ortega as the titular crowned princess of the macabre, or any fellow cast members in character, but we have a good feeling our first glimpse is not too far away! Excellent news as we have been chomping at the bit for any sort of Wednesday revelations. In mid-March, it was announced Ricci would be joining the cast of Wednesday, but so far we've had little else to go on. Today's clip wasn't much of a revelation, it features Thing (the disembodied but beloved hand of the Addams brood) alerting us to a first look coming to Geeked Week on June 6th.

That's five days away! Was Thing signaling this five-day countdown at the beginning of the video, or was that a mere coincidence? You be the judge. The teaser clip is also the single solitary post shared to the official Wednesday Netflix Instagram account but we suspect that will change after Monday. In the meantime, let's hear a round of applause for our favorite right-hand man, Thing!
