The Girl In The Woods is a brand new supernatural Peacock original series, centering on a mysterious door in the woods, leading to a terrifying monster dimension. The series is based on the 2018 Crypt TV short film "The Door in the Woods", written and directed by Joey Greene and its 2020 sequel "The Girl in the Woods" written by David Calbert, Van Nguyen and directed by Roxine Helberg. Featuring Carrie (Stefanie Scott, Insidious: Chapter 3) a teenage runaway who may be more than meets the eye, as she faces her demons and bonds with two new friends Nolan (Misha Osherovich, Freaky) and Tasha (Sofia Bryant, I Am Not Okay with This) to help her fight back.
Written by an all-women writing team led by Jane Casey Modderno (The Birch), with episodes directed by Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) and Jacob Chase (Come Play.) Check out the full trailer below:
