When you are thinking about horror movies, and who isn't these days. Your mind must wander along many different paths. Maybe you might wonder which terrifying horror villain would make the best boss? Say no more. We've got you covered.

1. Hannibal (2013-2015)

Yes, Hannibal Lecter is the villain who would make the best boss. Why? He's unfailingly polite, able to mask his killer instinct so well that he can fool the FBI, and perfectly dressed. He's so in control and detail-oriented but concerned about others, brilliant, and knowledgeable on many subjects. Also, he is unlikely to kill you unless you are rude to him.

2. The Final Conflict (1981)

Damien Thorn, ambassador to the United Kingdom and the CEO of an international conglomerate, belongs on this list. He's already a boss and above suspicion even though he is the Antichrist. You're good as long as you don't threaten him somehow, unless you uncover his secret, or you are the Christ child.

3. Infinity Pool (2023)

Gabi Bauer would make another good boss. She is a natural leader, absolutely willing to do anything to succeed, and able to manipulate people to do whatever she wants, no matter how wild or dangerous it might be. Gabi probably calls the shots in her marriage and only kills someone when she knows she can get away with it. Even then, when necessary, she can revert to very normal-seeming behavior and is more of a thrill killer than a serial killer or homicidal maniac.

4. Wait Until Dark (1967)

Mr. Harry Roat From Scarsdale, played by Alan Arkin, is potentially one of the best possible bosses. He is pretty intimidating but only kills people because he has to do it. He is organized, able to sniff out lies, and determined to get whatever task he needs to get completed. I have full confidence that he could do it, and no one would so much as steal a paperclip in his office.

5. M3GAN (2022)

M3GAN is another good candidate for a boss. I know she's a robot, and they come with inherent dangers, as you can read about on this list. But M3GAN is dedicated, protective, and has access to all of the information in the world. She would never tire and woe to anyone who tried to hurt her company or employees.

6. Saw II (2005)

John Kramer, the serial killer known as Jigsaw, is another killer who isn't motivated by uncontrollable homicidal urges that might blow his cover. He already has murder employees like Amanda Young, Detective Lieutenant Mark Hoffman, Logan Nelson, and Dr. Lawrence Gordon, some of whom are much more mentally unstable than he is. That stability could make him a good boss if you aren't a person he wants to test. Hopefully, he would realize that excessive employee turnover harms the workplace.

7. Hellraiser (1987)

Pinhead or The Hell Priest would make pretty good bosses if you could convince them to give up their current occupation as Cenobites. They already have a crew of people they work with and are very good at accomplishing things. Imagine how much they could get done with a team of workers in an office setting. Of course, provided they didn't revert to their normal activities. You can read about how director David Bruckner would love to make another Hellraiser here.

8. Fright Night (2011)

Jerry Dandridge, especially in the 2011 remake, is a problem solver. He finds a way in when he can't get into the neighbors' house because they won't invite him in. If he could apply those skills, and vampires are natural bosses with familiars who do their daytime work and the humans they turn, he could do very well as a boss. All he would have to do is stay indoors during the daytime.

9. Land of the Dead (2005)

Most people might not think a zombie could show leadership qualities, but they would be wrong. Big Daddy in Land of the Dead is exactly that, a zombie leader who becomes a rebel and takes down Fiddler's Green and the evil Paul Kaufman but spares the humans that did nothing wrong. Now that's zombie leadership!

10. Audition (1999)

Asami, from Audition, would be the type of person to work their way up from working as a secretary to running the office after a few years. She is hardworking, inventive, and has a deadly kind of patience. In an office, she would most likely be cheery and well-liked. All of her unpleasant secrets would be relegated to her apartment.

11. Misery (1990)

Annie Wilkes from Misery would probably make a good boss. No, really. She is a nurse who takes charge when Paul Sheldon is in a car wreck. Aside from her depression and obsession with Paul and his books, she might not kill too many other people. Give her an office to run; she might forget to kill anyone. Okay, maybe not, but it's possible.
