As spotted by the good folks over at Bloody Disgusting, A24 and AMC Theaters are joining forces for a new screening series called A24 Presents: A Lover's Series, which will take place at participating AMC locations throughout the month of February. What better way to celebrate the most romantic month of the year than by revisiting some of A24's stranger genre movies?
Here's the full lineup:
- February 7 – Ti West's Pearl
- February 14 – David Lowery's A Ghost Story
- February 21 – Yorgos Lanthimos' The Lobster
- February 28 – Robert Eggers' The Lighthouse
Each of these screenings is a one-day-only affair, which means you'll wanna snag your tickets to any or all of the above screenings with a quickness; chances are, these are gonna sell out quickly!
This is an interesting lineup! Ti West's Pearl is one of the best horror films of the past few years, while David Lowery's A Ghost Story (screening on Valentine's Day, no less) is one of the most emotionally devastating movies A24's ever released. The Lobster, meanwhile, finds Yorgos Lanthimos getting extremely weird with it, while Robert Eggers' The Lighthouse is a skin-crawling bromance for the ages. There's something for everyone here!
