Good news for fans of bad vibes: Netflix has announced that Charlie Brooker's long-running, darkly satirical sci-fi series Black Mirror will return for a seventh season sometime in 2025. It will consist of six episodes.

But that's not all - they've also revealed that Black Mirror S7 will include a sequel to the classic S4 episode, "USS Callister." You know, the one where Jesse Plemons stars as a disgruntled computer programmer who traps digital versions of his co-workers inside a Star Trek-like game? Look, there's a picture of it at the top of this page. It's one of that season's better episodes. Yeah, you remember.

How will the story of the USS Callister continue, given the way that particular episode ended? Netflix says: "Captain Robert Daly may have died in the original episode, but for the crew of the USS Callister, their problems are just beginning…" Very intriguing!

As of this writing, nothing else has been revealed. We're not sure who will star in this latest batch of episodes, what they'll be about, or when the season itself will premiere, but rest assured that we'll be keeping our ear to the ground for further information. Stay tuned for those updates as they roll in, folks!
