Hot on the heels of M3GAN's millions comes another Wan/Blum collaboration. In an exclusive today, Deadline have revealed that Atomic Monster and Blumhouse (who are currently in talks for a potential mega merge) are teaming up to make Night Swim, a 'supernatural thriller' starring Wyatt Russell (Overlord) and Kerry Condon (The Banshees of Inisherin).
Night Swim will be written and directed by Bryce McGuire, and 'is built around the hidden source of terror found in an iconic backyard swimming pool.' The feature is based on a 2014 short of the same name by McGuire and Rod Blackhurst.
Shooting for Night Swim is due to start soon with a theatrical release date set for January 19, 2024. While you wait for more updates, check out the original short below;
