From Universal Pictures and Blumhouse, the record-breaking hit centers a brilliant toy company roboticist named Gemma, who develops a highly advanced doll named M3GAN that can learn and evolve based on human interactions. However, when Gemma takes M3GAN home to be her niece's companion, strange and disturbing events occur as the doll's programming becomes increasingly unpredictable and dangerous, leading Gemma to question whether she has created a monster that she cannot control. Produced by Jason Blum and James Wan, directed by award-winning filmmaker Gerard Johnstone (Housebound), from a screenplay by Akela Cooper (Malignant, The Nun 2) based on a story by Akela Cooper and James Wan.
BAFTA-nominated M3GAN composer Anthony Willis has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Hans Zimmer, Rupert Gregson-Williams, and Harry Gregson-Williams. His notable credits include David Yarovesky’s thriller The Hive, Promising Young Woman, The Dark Knight Rises, and Inception. Willis has also contributed to video game scores, including Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Gears 5.
