It's happening again...

There's gold in them thar streets of Woodsboro. The latest Scream has absolutely annihilated box office numbers, (duh) with a reported $62.6 million domestically and a combined global haul of $106.7 million. Enough, (more than enough) to greenlight a sequel. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that we officially have more Scream on the way! Confirmed, this is not a drill!

The Radio Silence team is heading back to Woodsboro this summer to bring us a sixth installment of the beloved franchise. They had their work cut out for them when they set out to bring Scream into 2022 and they hit it out of the park. The latest installment gave us all the meta-goodness fans have come to expect from Scream and incorporated elements befitting of a new era, including toxic fandom and a cocktail of new characters blended with legacy characters.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett will be back in the director's chair(s), with James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick once again writing the script. Original Scream creator Kevin Williamson will also be returning as Executive Producer, alongside Radio Silence's Chad Villella and Gary Barber, and Peter Oillataguerre for Spyglass.

Cue the fan theories. How much legacy character incorporation will we get in this next installment? The torch has been passed, and I'm guessing this will be more about the new characters we met in 2022, but we still need some Prescott and Weathers action here, so I guess the real question is how much to strike a nice balance? And perhaps the most important question of all here, is... what will it be called? Scream 6? Scream 2 2.0? Scream 2 (2023)? 6cream?

Ghostface is our subscriber-only cover ghoul, but the guts feature Kevin Williamson interviewing Radio Silence, a look back at the Scream legacy, and some Stab appreciation. We've also got some (very spoiler-filled!) behind-the-scenes photos and tidbits of the human easter egg in the latest Scream.
