The Recipe

2022 has been a pretty food-filled year for horror, with titles such as The Feast, A Banquet, Flux Gourmet, Feed Me and The Menu all tantalizing our taste buds and terrorizing our thoughts. Joining this smorgasbord of culinary creeps is The Recipe, a new short from LA-based director Cameron Holly Dexter.

The Recipe was written by Dexter and Leslie O'Neil, and stars The Human Centipede’s Ashlynn Yennie, Luke Barnett (Faith Based) and Leah Grosjean (Birds of Paradise). The ‘70s based short follows a housewife who “procures all the ingredients for a deadly dish that liberates her from not only her marriage, but reality itself.”

Feast your eyes on these stills which showcase some seriously '70s style and a pair of rather glorious sideburns...
