According to an exclusive report over at The Hollywood Reporter, legendary actress and musician Cher has signed on to executive produce Spider One's next horror movie, Little Bites. Joining here in those executive producer duties will be her son, Chaz Bono, who worked with Spider One (frontman of Powerman 5000 and Rob Zombie's younger brother) on his two previous films, Allegoria and Bury the Bride.

But wait, there's more! Little Bites will also star a trio of horror icons: FANGORIA columnist Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, Jakob's Wife), the iconic Heather Langenkamp (A Nightmare on Elm Street), and The Nun herself, Bonnie Aarons (also of Mulholland Drive). If this isn't the most unexpected group of names to find working together on one horror film, I don't know what is.

In addition to Crampton, Langenkamp and Aarons (how's that for a good law firm name?), Little Bites will also star Krsy Fox,. THR describes the film thusly:

"Little Bites follows Mindy (Fox), a young widow and mother who tries to protect her daughter Alice (Elizabeth Caro) from a flesh eating monster named Agyar (Jon Sklaroff). Mindy has been secretly sacrificing her own life by allowing the creature to feast on her body as she keeps Alice hidden away at her grandmother’s house."

And here's what Spider One, who also scripted the film, has to say:

“To be surrounded and supported by such legendary talent and producing partners is quite honestly a surreal experience. There could not be a better team to help me realize the terrifying and heartbreaking tale."

Nothing further to report on Little Bites at this time, but we will of course be monitoring this situation closely and bringing you further updates on the project as they roll in (we are particularly interested to learn whether Cher will be making a cameo in Spider One's film; she's gotta, right?). Stay tuned, folks!
