Given the bazillion other iconic slashers, monsters and unhinged actors they've previously inserted into Dead by Daylight, it was surely only a matter of time before Behavior Interactive got around to adding Alien's Xenomorph, one of cinema's all-time greatest and most dangerous creatures, to the game.
After teasing that eventuality just a few weeks ago, Behavior Interactive has released a full trailer for their Dead by Daylight: Alien expansion, and not only does it appear that they've absolutely nailed the look of the Xenomorph ... it also reveals that players will have the opportunity to step into Ellen Ripley's bug-stompin' boots in order to take that bad boy down!

For those who've never played Dead by Daylight, it's an asymmetric multiplayer/survival horror game. One player takes on the role of a Killer, while four other players serve as Survivors. The game initially launched all the way back in 2016, and in the years since, Behavior Interactive has kept the party going by adding new expansion packs themed around various slashers, killers, and - most recently - actor Nicolas Cage. Bringing Alien to this particular franchise was a no-brainer, and it's particularly exciting to see that they're bringing Ripley and the Nostromo into the game.

According to the countdown clock on Behavior Interactive's website, the Dead by Daylight: Alien expansion will arrive three weeks from today, on August 29th.
