Tragedy Girls' Tyler MacIntyre and Freaky's Michael Kennedy are ringing in the festive season with "blood, guts and mayhem" (rejoice, it's R-rated!) as director and writer respectively. Since premiering at Beyond Fest earlier this month, It's A Wonderful Knife has been top of the watchlist for all horror fans looking to add a new Christmas horror to their annual festive rotation.
Starring Jane Widdop (Yellowjackets), Joel McHale (Community) and scream king Justin Long (Barbarian), It's A Wonderful Knife is - if you couldn't tell by the title - a slasher subversion of the classic Christmas movie:
A year after saving her town from a psychotic killer on Christmas Eve, Winnie Carruthers’ life is less than wonderful — but when she wishes she’d never been born, she finds herself in a nightmare parallel universe and discovers that without her, things could be much, much worse.
