Fantastic Fest returns with a hybrid format, from September 23rd - 30th! The in-person portion of the festival is based in Austin, TX with virtual programming offered for many titles. We previously announced the first wave of programming for the fest and today we have the final wave. Including major World Premieres for The Black Phone, written by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill (Doctor Strange, Sinister) based on the short story by Joe Hill. Universal Pictures, Blumhouse and Crooked Highway’s anticipated horror film reunites director Derrickson and four-time Oscar nominee Ethan Hawke (Sinister) in what has been called "one of the most terrifying Blumhouse films ever."

IFC's psychological horror, A Banquet will have its U.S. Premiere at the festival, along with Norwegian drama The Innocents about children with supernatural powers. Additional World Premieres include Netflix's slasher helmed by Patrick Brice (Creep) There's Someone Inside Your House and Danishka Esterhazy's Slumber Party Massacre reimagining. Closing out the festival is the U.S. Premiere of Camille Griffin’s black comedy Silent Night, starring Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode and Roman Griffin Davis. "In sync with this year’s festival theme, you're invited to witness the strangest holiday celebration of the year, when a family gathers for a high-stakes Christmas dinner in Griffin's directorial debut."
