It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for - the first full official trailer for Scream VI is here, and promises a whole lotta carnage.
Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Scream, Ready or Not) are back directing the latest entry into the iconic franchise, which follows 'the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.'
The trailer is packed full of tantalising and terrifying moments, including a tense showdown involving Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) and a Ghostface who promises 'there's never been one like me.'
Scream VI also heralds the return of fan favourite Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere) who we see a snippet of in the trailer. We also get our first glimpse of Samara Weaving (Ready of Not) who was confirmed as part of the cast last summer.
Returning from Scream 5 are survivors Sam (Melissa Barrera) Tara (Jenna Ortega), Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and Chad (Mason Gooding) who have fled to New York City in order to start a fresh chapter and put the past - and Ghostface - behind them.
Speaking of Ghostface, the trailer teases that the latest masked maniac is one major fan, revealing what looks to be a shrine to all the past iterations of the killer.
