Cinemark recently sent horror fans into a frenzy with the release of Ghostface popcorn buckets in support of the upcoming Scream VI. But it didn't take long to see social media feeds of fans lamenting their local locations already sold out, some even driving major distances to track one down, only to arrive to the news that somebody had "just bought the last sixteen." A quick look at ebay showed a hefty supply of the buckets going for triple or even quadruple the price. Bogus! But the fine folks at Cinemark have heard our cries and in an effort to give everyone a chance to bring Ghostface home, they are launching an online only pre-sale. The pre-sale ends 3/17 at midnight and according to Cinemark's social media post, international shipping is also available.
Now, the bad news. You won't receive the tub in time for the March release of Scream VI. Instead, this batch is scheduled to ship out in August, undoubtedly due to a much larger demand than initially expected! But hey, Scream fans are Scream fans year-round, new movie or not. So we're still excited to snag these for the summer. Go grab yours for $19.99 + tax and shipping, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than those ebay flippers are slinging 'em for!
