Ti West's Maxxine, the director's highly-anticipated follow-up to the one-two punch of X and Pearl, is in production even as we speak, and it's clear that the folks over at A24 are just as excited about it as we are.

As you can see, that's the official A24 Twitter account sharing a brand-new look at West's film, with Mia Goth there on the left playing the film's titular role. We still don't know exactly what Maxxxine is about (its official synopsis only tells us "A young woman sets out to make it as an actress in 1980s Los Angeles"), but context clues tell us that Maxxxine will likely not be acting in traditional Hollywood-studio fare.
In addition to Goth, Maxxxine also stars Elizabeth Debicki, Kevin Bacon, Lily Collins, Halsey, Michelle Monaghan, Giancarlo Esposito, and Bobby Cannavale. It does not currently have a release date, but we're betting that this one will be along sooner rather than later - probably before the end of the year.
