The 2023 FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards will premiere on Sunday, May 21st at 9pm ET, exclusively on Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thrillers, and the supernatural.
The annual ceremony, which recognizes outstanding achievements in horror film and television, will once again be hosted by actor and writer David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil, Dune), but this time he'll be joined by co-host Peaches Christ (All About Evil, the Midnight Mass podcast). The ceremony will feature Jamie Clayton (Hellraiser), Mason Thames and Madeleine McGraw (The Black Phone), and Akela Cooper (Malignant, M3GAN) among its presenters.
As for the nominees? There were plenty to choose from over the past year, with titles like Jordan Peele's Nope, Ti West's one-two punch of X and Pearl, Dan Trachtenberg's outstanding Predator prequel Prey, Zach Cregger's smash-hit Barbarian, and Bryan Fuller's excellent horror doc series, Queer for Fear. The competition was, shall we say, intense.

In addition to the live ceremony - which, once again, will premiere on Shudder TV at 9PM ET on May 21st - additional pre- and post-show entertainment will roll out on FANGORIA's social media feeds. If you're unable to catch the show when it airs, no worries: Shudder will have it available to stream in all territories the very next morning, on May 22nd.
