Violent Night is now in theaters and we've got good news for fans. The Lo-Fi horror comedy from Violent Night writers Josh Miller and Pat Casey is coming to the Alamo. Picture it— Summer 2000 — long before they became big-time Hollywood players with the likes of Violent Night, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Dorm Daze Miller and Casey produced, co-wrote, directed, and starred in Hey, Stop Stabbing Me!
With a budget of $500, a MiniDV cam and the help of some friends in Bloomington, MN, the duo created "what remains the most insanely accomplished—and long-out-of-print—comedy/horror hit of the SOV era." And now, hot on the heels of their massive Violent Night premiere, the "deranged suburban saga of hole diggers, serial killers, nympho girlfriends, clothes-stealing monsters, and lawn mower murders" that kick-started it all is coming to The Alamo Los Angeles. Filmmakers Josh Miller and Pat Casey will be live in person for a post-screening Q&A.
