Diablo Cody (Jennifer's Body) has a new horror-comedy cooking in the lab and we are so freakin excited for this first-look at Lisa Frankenstein. The cast of Lisa Frankenstein is stacked, including Freaky's Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Liza Soberano, Henry Eikenberry, Joe Chrest and Carla Gugino, with Newton in the title role of Lisa Frankenstein. The movie will hit theaters just in time for Valentine's Day, coming to the big screen February 9, 2024. The official synopsis sets up the Frankenstein twist as so:
A coming of RAGE love story from acclaimed writer Diablo Cody (Jennifer’s Body) about a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse. After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness… and a few missing body parts along the way.

We are obviously big fans of everyone involved here and can't wait to see what they've cooked up. This will mark Zelda Williams' feature directorial debut, the neon lights and tanning bed as lab slab have us feeling like this is going to be a fun little romp into the world of re-animation.
