Last month we delivered the surprising news that Emmy, Grammy, and Oscar winner Cher was executive producing an upcoming horror film featuring some of our favorite and most beloved women in the whole damn genre. Today, we are delivering the good news that production on Little Bites has wrapped, and we've got a sneak peek right here!
Written and directed by Spider One, who recently took home Panic Fest's Best Feature award for Bury The Bride, shares, “To say the production process was intense would be an understatement. Every day was filled with terror and tears. Shooting Little Bites was by far one of the most rewarding creative experiences of my life.”
Little Bites is the story of a mother willing to sacrifice anything to protect her daughter. Krsy Fox (Bury The Bride, Underworld Evolution) stars alongside horror legends Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, You’re Next), Heather Langenkamp (Nightmare on Elm Street, The Midnight Club), and Bonnie Aarons (The Nun, The Conjuring 2). The film also features Jon Sklaroff, Elizabeth Caro, Chaz Bono, Lyndsi LaRose, Mark Kelly, Christopher Alvarenga, your Fango online creep Angel Melanson, Elle Riot Fox, and James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca of Dead Meat. (Or, as we like to call them, "The Meats").
Let's take a look a the official synopsis.
Little Bites follows Mindy (Fox), a young widow and mother, who desperately tries to protect her daughter Alice (Caro) from the grips of a fiendish, flesh eating monster named Agyar (Sklaroff). Mindy has been secretly sacrificing her own life by allowing the creature to slowly feast on her body as she keeps Alice hidden away at her grandmother’s (Aarons).

Just a taste to whet your whistle, but that looks like one ooey-gooey bastard, and that is most definitely not an eye we'd like to catch watching us in the dark. On going toe-to-toe with this goopy villain, Krsy Fox says, “I have never had a role that affected me this emotionally. I really fell into the character of Mindy and the darkness she was fighting. Looking back on this experience, I will never forget the talent of the actors I got to work with and the true love the cast and crew had for each other on this set. Also, be prepared because I look like hell, and the screaming, crying, and snot’s all real. Mindy was by far the most relatable and sad character I’ve portrayed, yet this was the most fun I’ve ever had shooting a film. You will definitely be seeing the extreme gore and our monster Agyar in your nightmares for years to come.”
Heather Langenkamp was excited to play the wise Ellenor, “I really responded to the way my character, Ellenor, thrusts Spider’s terrifying story in a new direction. I love that I get to deliver a kind of wisdom that older women often carry with them and are mysteriously duty-bound to pass along. Krsy and Spider are an amazing team to work for!”
Little Bites is produced by Krsy Fox and Spider One for OneFox Productions, with executive producer Cher, along with Chaz Bono, Ian Hoge, Tyler Connolly, Wendy Berry and Mark Berry. No release info just yet, but we'll keep you posted!
