Last year's Freaky, from director Chris Landon and writer Michael Kennedy, made for one of the absolute best entries in a sub-genre that means the world to me: teen girl horror. And today THR reports that the two are teaming up again (Landon is now producing, with Into the Dark's Hannah MacPherson taking on directorial duties) on another YA horror project: Time Cut!

Out from ACE Entertainment, Time Cut will star a couple of Netflix young adult marquee names: Outer Banks' Madison Bailey and Ginny & Georgia's Antonia Gentry, both of whom are GREAT and I'm thrilled to see them making their way to the genre big screen. Time Cut is described as "Back to the Future meets Scream," and listen, I find nothing to complain about there.

This is just all-around excellent news, and Kennedy obviously agrees:

You heard it here (well, on Kennedy's Instagram account) first: Time Cut is fire, folks. I can't wait.
