Just a few days after some exciting potential cast news, AMC have shared a brand new preview of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon ahead of the spin-off's Fall 2023 premiere.

Starring Norman Reedus as the eponymous fan-favorite, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon takes the zombie drama overseas, as the stoic badass finds himself washed up in France:

“The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”

Alongside Reedus, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon stars Clémence Poésy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi. David Zabel is showrunner, and the series was executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, as well as Zabel, Reedus, Greg Nicotero, Angela Kang, Brian Bockrath and Daniel Percival.

The two-minute clip was shared during last night's The Walking Dead: Dead City, the Maggie and Negan focused spin-off, and sees Daryl making his way across an apocalypse-ravaged French landscape. There's a nice little homage to the classic scene of Andrew Lincoln's Rick Grimes entering the city from The Walking Dead's pilot episode all the way back in 2010. Whatever's next for him, Daryl's certainly come a long way from an Atlanta outcast.
