It's common knowledge that A24 never miss with their merch (remember this hilarious piece of Midsommar paraphernalia?), we’ve been awaiting this particular announcement with baited breath. Announced via A24’s Twitter account earlier today (seen below), you too can soon bring home a replica of the demonic hand used to possess the teens of Danny and Michael Philipou’s smash hit Talk to Me!
The mysterious hand is the central figure of Talk to Me, causing havoc at teen parties across Australia. The rules are simple: grab the hand, say “talk to me” and invite a ghostly specter from the other side into your body for 90 seconds. Any longer than that? Well, if you’ve seen the film you’ll know that’s not a good idea, but do feel free to try!
As Talk to Me warns us when the group of teens (Sophie Wilde, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Otis Dhanji and Zoe Terakes) started messing with the hand, it’s probably not the best idea, but this’ll be a great conversation piece or ring-holder regardless.
The Hand isn’t the only good news for Talk to Me fans this week: following news that the RackaRacka brothers already shot a prequel to the A24 horror hit, news has also been announced of a sequel, hilariously titled Talk 2 Me.
