RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop recently premiered on SCREAMBOX. The original four-part docuseries features interviews and exclusive insights from RoboCop stars Peter Weller, Nancy Allen, Ronny Cox, Ray Wise, and Kurtwood Smith, director Paul Verhoeven, writers Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner, special effects legend Phil Tippett, and more.

After the August 29 premiere episode, we can look forward to new hour-long episodes following weekly through September 19 on SCREAMBOX. “We’ve crafted something together to incorporate visuals and sound in an effort to immerse viewers into the world of '80s filmmaking and offer something completely unique to the ‘making of’ format," explains series co-director Eastwood Allen.

"As a fan of RoboCop for the past thirty years, this project has been a labor of love for me, and I can’t wait to share this unique project with the fans, especially those who have stood by us all these years," adds co-director Christopher Griffiths.

Part man, part machine, all cop, RoboCop burst onto the scene as the cinematic landscape began to shift and artificial intelligence was capturing the public's imagination. The boundary-pushing film spawned an unlikely franchise that includes two sequels, an animated series, and a Hollywood remake, along with comic books, video games, toys, and merchandise galore.

RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop is co-directed by Chris Griffiths and Eastwood Allen and produced by Gary Smart. The trio previously collaborated on Hollywood Dreams & Nightmares: The Robert Englund Story, Pennywise: The Story of IT, and You're So Cool, Brewster: The Story of Fright Night, all of which are available on SCREAMBOX.
