Director Ama Lea (who also directed our FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards 2022) and Vanessa Decker have come together to create the Slashercise workout series, combining our favorite elements of '80s horror and fitness in a "full-fledged, digital format exercise program" delivering the horror genre's answer for the latest iteration of the at-home workout generation.
The program is designed to be inclusive for all body types and fitness levels, with the added bonus of spooky set designs, the sweet sounds of synth-wave, and special guest appearances from the likes of Felissa Rose, Diana Prince, Spencer Charnes from Ice Nine Kills, and many more. The DVD includes exclusive bonus content, including behind-the-screams footage, interviews with Ama Lea and Vanessa Decker, along with the cast and crew, and special features that dive into the creative process behind Slashercise.

Conceived by Decker and Lea at the onset of the pandemic when at-home exercise had its biggest resurgence since Jane Fonda donned spandex. The producing team includes Event Producer Claire Dunlap (Spooky Swap Meet, Midsummer Scream Halloween and Horror Convention) Lindsay Hearts (CEO & Designer at FOXBLOOD), Diana Prince (Darcy The Mail Girl of The Last Drive-in with Joe Bob Briggs) and Kira Von Sutra (Artist), Slashercise was born.
