Nahnatchka Khan's time travel/slasher horror-comedy Totally Killer has been high on our watchlist since the first images dropped last month, and today Blumhouse have delivered a brand new one to get hyped about.

Starring Kiernan Shipka (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Julia Bowen (Modern Family), Olivia Holt (Kickin' It), Charlie Gillespie (Julie and the Phantoms) and Lochlyn Munro (Scary Movie), Totally Killer is described as a "must-see slasher-comedy for the spooky season", which continues Prime Video’s partnership with Blumhouse Television. The full plot synopsis reads as follows:

Thirty-five years after the shocking murder of three teens, the infamous “Sweet Sixteen Killer“ returns on Halloween night to claim a fourth victim. Seventeen-year-old Jamie (Shipka) ignores her overprotective mom’s (Bowen) warning and comes face-to-face with the masked maniac and, on the run for her life, accidentally time travels back to 1987, the year of the original killings. Forced to navigate the unfamiliar and outrageous culture of the 1980s, Jamie teams up with her teen mom (Holt) to take down the killer once and for all, before she’s stuck in the past forever.

A new teaser for Totally Killer (seen below) showcases a bunch of familiar Blumhouse faces, including The Grabber (The Black Phone), The Butcher (Freaky), Babyface (Happy Death Day), Lady Liberty (The Purge: Election Year) and Pooka (Into the Dark: Pooka!) Joining them in the roster is the mysterious Sweet Sixteen killer, who presumably is going to wreak all kinds of bloody havoc across the 80s and the modern day.

Totally Killer will premiere globally on October 6, exclusively on Prime Video, and don't forget you can get some exclusive Totally Killer tidbits in the upcoming issue of FANGORIA!
