Peacock is going hard with their September streaming lineup. As it should! It's only owned by NBCUniversal who has one of the richest horror catalogs in existence. I mean, they build an entire haunt around it, not to mention Universal is home to the Universal Monsters which is what kicked off a lifelong horror obsession for many of us. The Universal Monster movies are a key part of why I initially signed up for the service, but the classic monsters have been missing from the platform for some time.
Now they're back, and they've brought some friends along! There are tons of marathon options in the lineup, aside from catching up on the OG Universal Monster pictures, you can get your Chucky fill with a Child's Play marathon followed up with the Syfy series. The Amityville franchise also has a hefty presence this month. Catch up on Saw before the Saw X release, or go for a John Carpenter marathon. Halloween (1978) is not on the list, but Halloween II and Halloween III: Season of the Witch are here along with Blumhouse's 2018 installment.
