From is a mysterious series about a group of people trapped in a town from which there is seemingly no escape. The show has become very popular and earned a fanbase simply through word of mouth and the quality of the episodes, all without much in the way of mainstream entertainment news coverage.

Undoubtedly, the strong performances of lead actors Harold Perrineau and Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Shaun Majumder, Scott McCord, and Ricky He are very appealing to viewers. The great news is that this show takes the top spot this week.

You can stream From on Fubo and MGM+.

2. The Terror (2018 - 2019) - Streaming on Prime Video

A truly unexpected revelation came last week for fans of the cult anthology AMC series The Terror, which takes the second spot this week. The show was well-regarded but seemingly canceled after a second season that dealt with a different subject. AMC surprised everyone by announcing that a third season of the series was being made after five years.

Naturally, many are now interested in watching the show again or for the first time since the news broke. You can read more about the anticipated new season in this article.

The first season of The Terror is streaming on Prime Video, Shudder, and AMC+.

Mike Flanagan fans have likely already watched The Fall of the House of Usher long ago. The show's continued popularity, now in its fourth month in the top ten, has to be related to new viewers discovering the show that star Carla Gugino referred to as being "b*tshit crazy, but in the best possible way." Flanagan's stylish adaptation of Poe captures the audience's imagination and is winning the creator even more fans.

The Fall of the House of Usher is now streaming on Netflix.

4. Yellowjackets (2021 - 2023) - Streaming on Fubo

Creators Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson were inspired by real-life incidents that involved people stranded in the snow, like The Donner Party and the Andes Rugby team plane disaster, who resorted to cannibalism, as well as "The Lord of the Flies" while creating Yellowjackets. They meant to show that girls could be just as vicious as boys with the series when people on social media doubted that it was possible.

Yellowjackets is now streaming on Fubo.

5. The Walking Dead (2010 - 2022) - Streaming on Netflix

The Outsider has a great cast, including Ben Mendelsohn, Julianne Nicholson, Mare Winningham, Paddy Considine, and Cynthia Erivo. It's a show that takes a little while to develop, but that gives the patient viewer a lot of rewards.

Unfortunately, it was released during the turbulent year of 2020 and was lost in the year's uncertainty. According to Stephen King on social media, a second season was planned, but it was canceled even though there was an attempt to sell the series to another studio, which did not pan out. Still, you can enjoy the tremendous first season anytime you want.

The Outsider is now streaming on MAX.

8. Fear the Walking Dead (2015 - 2023) - Streaming on AMC+

Fear the Walking Dead recently came to an end last year in November. Not only did the show manage to bring back lead Madison Clark, who seemingly died in season four, but it also brought back her daughter Alicia Clark, who was bitten by a zombie in season seven for the finale. Hey, it's a zombie apocalypse; if you don't see them die on camera, you never know for sure.

The Envoys is a Paramount+ series that recently released its second season in December 2023. Academy award-winning Argentinian writer and director for the film The Secret in Their Eyes, Juan José Campanella, created the series, which has become popular without much press and entered the top for the first time last week.

The series is about two Vatican officials who are sent to different parts of the world to investigate alleged miracles and healings attributed to church members to verify their veracity. Vatican horror seems to be an emerging subgenre with The Envoys and the popular hit film The Pope's Exorcist.
