Dead by Daylight continues to be a franchise that keeps on blessing horror fans, with the game's studio announcing that an Alien crossover entitled Dead by Daylight: Alien is en route to scare you and your controller silly.
Today, developer Behaviour Interactive released a teaser for the crossover (seen below) that keeps things just the right amount of mysterious: we don't see too much, but what we do see (a ruined ship, a slithering Xenomorph reminiscent of Ridley Scott's 1979 original) is enough to have us completely hyped already.
The teaser also informs us that more will be revealed about the Dead by Daylight crossover on August 8, so get that in your calendar right away!
Dead by Daylight: Alien is the latest in a long line of sweet Alien news (including series casting and filming updates on Fede Álvarez's new feature). And when you think about it, adapting the world of Alien for a game based on hunting and killing in often small-scale environments is genuinely a perfect idea - with the added excitement of course being that if the Xenomorphs are the Killers, then does that imply everyone's favorite kickass sci-fi heroine Ripley is going to be a survivor...? We can only hope and dream!
Dead by Daylight is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Windows Store.
