SAW X (2023)

Let's say you're the sort of Saw fanatic who, despite loving every entry in the long-running franchise James Wan and Leigh Whannell launched all the way back in 2004, has avoided picking up any of those movies on Blu-ray. Maybe you've been content to access each of 'em through streaming, or you've been borrowing your grandmother's copies on an as-needed basis, or you had no disposable income to speak of until about, oh, nine minutes ago. If that sounds like you, we have exciting news to share.

According to the good folks over at Bloody Disgusting (and as you can see via the image above), Lionsgate has announced a brand-new Saw collection, one which will combine all 10 installments in this unstoppable series into one handy-dandy package. That's 10 different Saw movies, all on Blu-ray, all conveniently housed inside a single - and, if we may be so bold, snazzy-looking - boxed set. That includes:

  • Saw
  • Saw II
  • Saw III
  • Saw IV
  • Saw V
  • Saw VI
  • Saw 3D
  • Jigsaw
  • Spiral
  • Saw X

This is obviously irrelevant to the matter at hand, but: do you think they regret ditching the Roman numeral naming convention on these bad boys after Saw VI? They had a great thing going there for a while, and then bam - Saw 3D blasts through the wall Kool-Aid Man style and knocks the whole thing off its axis for two full entries. Thank God Saw X got us back on track. But we digress!

According to Bloody Disgusting's report, the Saw 10-Film Collection is currently available to pre-order via Amazon, with an official arrival date of March 5th. That's right around the corner! If you've been waiting to snap up these movies until the collections Lionsgate releases after each new entry reached a big, fat, even number, there's never been a better time to get involved.

Stay tuned for more on the future of the Saw franchise as further updates become available.
