The wait is almost over! Kevin Greutert's Saw X, the latest (and highly-anticipated) installment in Lionsgate's long-running Saw franchise, hits theaters two weeks from today, a perfect send off to September as we enter the pinnacle of spooky season: October.

The chapter in the Saw saga is, as you've almost certainly heard by now, a prequel of sorts, taking place between the first and second Saw movies. Here we find John Kramer (aka Jigsaw) heading on down to Mexico for an experimental medical treatment that he hopes will cure his cancer. Upon realizing that the whole treatment is a scam, Jigsaw has no choice but to do what Jigsaw does best: punish the scumbags responsible, in the grisliest ways imaginable.

Case in point: this newly-released Saw X clip, which shows off one of Jigsaw's latest traps - a complicated device that involves two vacuum tubes connected to a very unfortunate character's eyeballs.

You can probably guess where this is going.

Saw X (which stars Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez, Joshua Okamoto, Octavio Hinojosa, Synnøve Macody Lund, Steven Brand and Michael Beach) hits theaters on September 29th, and we are very much looking forward to finding out what other dastardly games Jigsaw has planned for his victims this time around. Stay tuned for further Saw X updates as they roll in.
